Father God,
before I ask You for anything, I just want to say thank You.

Every good and perfect gift comes from You,
and so much of my life is gift.
Thank You for the people I love,
for this day, for Your patience with me,
for grace I did not earn and could never repay.

Teach me to give thanks in all circumstances,
to see Your hand in the ordinary,
and to live today with a grateful heart.
